More than 20 years ago, our founders, in the search to diversify the business, discovered the heart of palm, a strong species to the diseases of the own climate of our country and of national production. Thus, in the year 1992, INAEXPO was born in Ecuador, as an Agricultural Exporting Industry of palmito.
In 1994, INAEXPO sent the first container of Ecuadorian HOP to the exterior and thanks to an exhaustive agricultural research, it takes Ecuador to become the first producer and exporter of cultivated palm, which until now, has allowed us to reach 27 countries worldwide. Following the same marketing model, we have ventured into artichoke exports from Peru.
Since our beginnings, Sustainability has been a transversal axis in our productive tasks. For example, environmental management programs comply with agricultural processes, wastewater treatment and organic waste management as part of the generation of environmental well-being.
We have quality control systems framed in the certifications IFS (International Food Standards), ISO 22000 and HACCP (Analysis and Control of Critical Points). Our products and processes meet the requirements of the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) and the Codex Alimentarius Commission.
We are proud to know that our process starts in the fields together with the work of hundreds of producers in rural areas, and that allows us to contribute to the development of the standard of living of these populations, generating employment, economic activity and welfare.
